Verint Launches New IP Dome Camera

Weybridge, Surrey, Verint Systems, a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence, today announced the launch of the Nextiva™ S2700e, a high-resolution, PAL IP mini-dome camera that features triple axis lens rotation for flexible installation and low-lux sensitivity for clear images in a variety of lighting conditions.

Designed for both colour and day-to-night use, indoor and out, the Nextiva S2700e delivers dual stream, DVD-quality video with 4CIF, 25 Frames Per Second (FPS). In low light conditions, the camera automatically adjusts to black-and-white mode for optimal image clarity.

The Nextiva S2700e has also been designed with the installer in mind, with a new feature that allows flush or surface mounting on ceilings and walls, in significantly less time than conventional mini-domes. A triple axis rotation system provides superior flexibility in camera placement and adjustment, allowing the camera to be installed virtually anywhere. The Nextiva S2700e is suitable for indoor applications, and is also available in an outdoor version, as well as a new rugged vandal-resistant model for more demanding environments.

When used in conjunction with Verint Nextiva Video Management solution, installation is further eased thanks to an easy-to-use management portal - Nextiva Control Center – that enables the camera to be configured and administered from a single location and application. Additionally, Nextiva’s HealthCheck™ applications continuously monitors the performance of the S2700e, with automated diagnostics and problem correction for greater uptime and lower service costs. Verint® Nextiva is a robust platform and suite of software applications built on a standards-based, open architecture, engineered for scalability, rapid deployment, and ease of use in IP network environments.

Nextiva captures video, audio and data from a wide variety of devices transmitted over wireline and wireless networks.
