Cernium Continues Growth; Completes Move to Northern Virginia

Reston, VA – June 4, 2008 – Cernium Corporation, a leading developer of video analytics-enabled products, announced today that it has completed the corporate relocation process begun more than two years ago. Founded in 2001 in St. Louis, Missouri, Cernium chose the Northern Virginia area for the strength of its technology work force and its broad base of commercial and government customers. With the transition now complete, all core functions and personnel reside in the company’s Reston facility, which recently grew to 11,000 square feet to accommodate the new operations. The consolidation will allow Cernium to continue expanding its footprint in the rapidly emerging market for video analytics-enabled products.

“Cernium continues to solidify its long-standing leadership in developing products that extract useful information from video,” said Craig Chambers, Cernium president and CEO. “By co-locating all of our core operations, we will enhance our ability to innovate and deliver to our growing base of customers and partners worldwide.”

Cernium develops intelligent video products for use in a variety of applications, including industrial, government and campus security. The company’s product suite includes Perceptrak®, a software application integrated with Milestone Systems’ XProtect™ Enterprise IP video management platform; Cernium High Density Analytics Server™ (HDAS), an analytics-only software solution for large-scale, enterprise-wide video surveillance installations; Cernium Edge™, advanced video analytics for digital signal processors; and ExitSentry®, the industry-leading airport exit lane monitoring solution.
